Hades - Sheol

Everything God does or ordains has a purpose. He never does anything aimless. Everything God says is true and is part of His plan. The purpose of the plan He has given and the purpose is that we – the people – may live forever in the New Heaven and the New Earth, the so-called Realm of Light. The execution of His plan is not fully comprehensible to us, because our capacity is not great enough for that.

In the original text of the Bible, the Hebrew word sheʼōlʹ and its Greek equivalent haiʹdes are used more than 70 times. Both words are related to the Realm of the dead. In the Dutch Revised States Translation (RSV) the word Realm of the Dead – Sheol or Hades – has been completely removed and replaced by the words “grave”, “hell” or “abyss”. This is clearly a case of MANIPULATION. But in most languages there are no words that convey the exact meaning of these Hebrew and Greek words. In the Dutch translation NBG51 the word realm of the dead is used where it should be used. In the Christian world, the words “Sheol” and “Hades” have become unknown concepts. What do these words actually mean?

Let's see how they are used in different Bible passages.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, “Whatsoever thine hand finds to do according to thy ability, do it: for there is no work or devising or knowledge or wisdom in Hades whither thou goest.' Does this mean that Sheol points to a specific, separate grave, where we may have buried one of our loved ones?

N0. When the Bible refers to a specific tomb, other Hebrew and Greek words are used, not sheʼōlʹ and haiʹdes. (Genesis 23:7-9; Matthew 28:1). Nor does the Bible use the word Sheol for a grave in which several persons are buried together, such as a family grave or a mass grave. —Genesis 49:30, 31.

What kind of place is meant by Sheol? From God's Word it appears that by Sheol or Hades is meant something much larger than even a large mass grave.

Isaiah 5:14-15 “Therefore, Hades opens wide its throat, and opens up its mouth beyond measure, so that the splendor of this people, its multitude, its noise, and all that is frisky therein sinks. Then the man is debased, and the man is humbled, and the eyes of the proud are also humbled.

Proverbs 30:15-16 'The leech - Satan - has two daughters: give, give! These three are insatiable, four never say: It is enough: Hades - Hades - and the barren womb, the earth that is never saturated with water, and the fire that never says: It is enough

In the "Apocryphal Book the Book of Enoch" the realm of the dead - Hades / Sheol - is clearly explained.

Omit information about the Realm of the Dead - Hades

Only a few texts in the Bible refer to the Realm of the Dead - Hades or Sheol. The Catholic Bishops who compiled the Bible dropped a lot of content, so it hasn't been added to the Bible. Due to the very large difference in belief and own opinion, almost all references in this regard have been omitted. However, there are a few texts that provide a clear reference. These few texts are the evidence by which the explanations in other scriptures should be accepted.

Explanation of these texts about the Realm of the Dead, during death Jesus worked hard in the Sheol - Hades.

Matthew 27:50-53 “Again Jesus gave a loud cry and He died. At the same time, the heavy curtain in front of the holy place in the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. Tombs opened and many believing men and women who had died came back to life. After the resurrection of Jesus, they left the cemeteries and went to Jerusalem. There they were seen by many people.

Hades is divided into parts. The first act was that Jesus went to the Realm of the Dead where the Earth Fathers, the Prophets and other Saints dwelt. Jesus has opened the Realm of the Dead (Hades) and granted this group access to heaven. This information is not included in the Bible, but it is in the Gospel of Nicodemus. Nicodemus2-Denrijk can be found in the downloads. This part is described in PART 1 of the cave - hades.

1 Peter 3:18-22 “Christ too, as innocent for the guilty, suffered for our sins once and for all, to bring us back to God. He died physically, but was made alive again by the Spirit. In this way He could go to the spirits who were imprisoned in the underworld (Hades - the realm of the dead) to make known to them what He has done. That concerns those who refused to listen in Noah's time, though God waited patiently for them while Noah built the ark. Then eight people were rescued, while the others drowned. Those eight people were rescued despite all the water. In contrast, therefore, you are saved by baptism. Baptism does not mean washing off the filth from your body, but it is a prayer to God for a good conscience through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ has gone to heaven and now sits at the right hand of God. All angels, rulers and rulers are subject to Him.'

This second text refers to all who drowned during the Flood. Many people believe that Jesus sat at the right hand of the Father during his death. This is not correct, it is after His Ascension. In the Sheol He told about His sacrifice. So these souls were also given a second chance, a second chance to believe Jesus. In this way it also becomes clear and understandable how enormously great the Love of Jesus Christ is for man. Jesus says very clearly: “I am the way, only through me can you come to the Father”. In Sheol all will hear about His sacrificial death and be given the opportunity to be saved by faith.

1 Corinthians 3:11-16 For no one should lay any foundation other than Jesus Christ. You can build on that one foundation with all kinds of materials, with gold, silver and precious stones, or with wood, hay and straw. It will be evident what you have done, for the great day of the Lord is coming with fire. Only what is valuable remains in the fire, the rest burns. If you have built with refractory material on the foundation, you will be paid. If your work burns, you will be at a loss. You yourself will be saved, but through the fire. Know you not that you yourselves are the temple of God, and that His Spirit dwells in you?

Below a few examples about what happens in the realm of the dead in the second cave. This is in response to 2 Corinthians 12: 1-6

Paul may or may not have been in heaven in the body. that is described in these texts. Paul has made a record of this. You can download the entire report: The Revelations of Paul. A small part is described in PART 2 of the cave - hades.

Quote from the Book of Enoch about the Sheol, section 8: 21.8 -23.1

Then I said, "This place is horrible, and very painful to watch!" Then Uriel, one of the holy angels who was with me, said and
answered me. He answered and said to me, "Enoch, why do you have that dread and dread because of this terrible place, with the
seeing this pain.” He said to me, "This place is the prison of the angels, and there they will be held forever."

From there, I went to another place, and he showed me in the west a great and high mountain, and a hard rock, and four beautiful places. Inside it was deep, wide and very smooth. How smooth was what turned, and deep and dark to look at! Then Raphael, one of the holy angels who was with me, answered and said to me: “These beautiful places are there, so that the spirits, the souls of the dead, may be gathered therein. They were made for them, that they may gather here the souls of the children of men. And they made these places, where they shall abide until the Day of Judgment, and until their appointed time, and the appointed time shall be long, until the great judgment come upon them.” I saw the ghosts of the sons of men who were dead, and their voices reached heaven and lamented.

Then I asked Raphael, the angel who was with me, and said to him: "Whose spirit is this, whose voice reaches to heaven and laments like this?"
He answered me, and said to me: This spirit is the one who came from Abel, who was murdered by Cain his brother. And he will complain about him until his descendants are destroyed from the face of the earth, and his descendants perish from among the descendants of men.”

Then I asked about him, and about the judgment of them all, and I said, "Why is one separated from the other." And he answered me, and said unto me:

These three places were thus made, that they might part the spirits in death.

And the souls of the righteous are separated in this way, this is the fountain of water, and above it the light.

Also, a place has been created for sinners, when they die, and are buried in the earth, and judgment has not yet come upon them in their lifetime. But here their souls are parted for this great torment, until the Great Day of Judgment with punishment and torment for those cursed for ever, and a vengeance upon their souls. And there He will bind them forever. Verily, He is from the beginning of the world.

And there is a place set aside for the souls of those who complain, and give information about their destruction, about when they were killed, in the days of the sinners.

Therefore a place has been made, for the souls of men who are not righteous, but sinners, who have completed their wrongdoing, and with the unrighteous they shall share their lot. But their souls will not be killed on the Day of Judgment, neither will they ascend from here.”
And I blessed the Lord of glory and said: "Blessed be my Lord, the Lord of Glory and Justice, who reigns over all things forever." And from there I went to another place, to the west, at the end of the earth.

Part 1 of the cave (Realm of the Dead - Sheol)

The first part is a part with a source, this part is for the Saints and the Prophets and the Patriarchs. Also this group was never directly taken up in Heaven. There are two people who have been ascended to the 3rd Heaven, Paradise during their lifetime. These two people are Enoch and Elijah and that is clearly defined in the bible. A third person - Moses - is said to have never found his body and the Archangel Michael and Satan fought over the body of Moses. No one knows how that ended, but it is known that Moses and Elijah spoke with Jesus on the mountain to strengthen Jesus Christ. All the people who come into this part of the cave have lived their lives with complete faith in God.

Part 2 of the cave (Realm of the Dead - Sheol)

A very large group of people are not judged during their death. That can be for many different reasons. One very important reason is that all people need to hear about the sacrifice of Jesus. All people who live, have lived or will live should have the free choice to believe in the sacrifice that Jesus made. All the people who have truly believed in Jesus Christ during their lifetime – and no human being is able to judge it correctly – come in the first part.

This second part is divided into sectors - prisons. One of these sectors is the portion of the people who died during the Flood when Noah and his family were saved during the Flood. Of this it is written in 1 Peter 3:18-22 that Jesus went to the people - who were in the prisons - from the time of Noah. There Jesus himself preached to bring about redemption in this group as well. These people also have the choice to choose freely for Jesus. Making that choice is not easy there either, because that choice can only be influenced by expressions of love. Here, too, love is the spark that makes trust fly.

The second part is therefore intended for all people who leave the earth and their circumstances are therefore of all kinds. Many have never heard of Jesus, many have doubted His existence, many have cursed and reviled Him, there are those who have had abortions – for whatever reason. There are thieves, adulterers and so on. The revelations of Paul and Peter discuss purgatory, the fire in which many will be tested or purified. The fire that is said to be saved, but through the fire.

Below is a small portion of Paul's Revelations.

36. And I saw another man in the river of fire who was knee-deep in fire. He had his hands outstretched and he was covered in blood. Worms crawled out of his mouth and nose. He sighed and cried and shouted, 'Have pity on me, for I am being punished more severely than the others who suffer this punishment. And I asked: Who is that, sir? And he said that the one I saw there was a deacon who had eaten offerings, and committed fornication, and done no good before God, 'Therefore he suffers this punishment continuously.' And I noticed that on his other side was another human that they hurriedly brought. They threw him into the river of fire. He was up to his knees in it. The angel who was appointed over the punishments came with a great fiery razor and with it he cut that man's lips and also his tongue. And I sighed and wept and asked, "Who is that, sir?" He told me that the one I saw there was a reader reading to the people, but he himself did not keep God's commandments, “But now he will receive his just punishment.

37. And I saw more pits in that place, and in the midst of them was a river full of a multitude of men and women. Worms ate them. And I wept and sighing I asked the angel: 'Lord, who are they?' And he said these are people who demand interest on interest. They trust in their wealth, but they don't expect God to be their helper.' And then I saw another scary place. There was something like a wall and a fire around it. Inside I saw men and women biting their tongues, and I asked: Who are they, my lord?' He told me that these are the people in the church who despise the word of God by not paying attention to it. "They regard the Lord and his angels as nothing. That is why they now also receive an appropriate punishment."

38. And I saw another old man down in the pit, and he looked like blood. I asked, "Lord, what kind of place is this?" And he said that in this pit all the punishments come in. And I saw men and women submerged up to their lips. I asked, 'Who are they, sir?' He said that these were the wizards who had exposed men and women to magical wizardry. "It has been seen that they did not stop until they died." And further I saw men and women with pitch-black faces in a pit full of fire. I sighed and cried and asked, 'Who are they, sir?' And he said that these are fornicators and adulterers. They had their own wives, but they had committed fornication. Likewise, women have committed adultery even though they had their own husbands. That is why they undergo punishment incessantly.

Part 3 of the cave (Realm of the Dead - Sheol)

In the third part, all the murdered souls are collected and their killer are confronted with their victims. This concerns all persons killed, many unborn children, young children up to and including the elderly. Everything has been written down by angels, because every person who lives on earth has an angel who sees what this person is doing. This angel reports daily and the story is recorded, both the good and the bad. This scroll is the testimony about this person and the question is always asked whether there is regret and whether a change has taken place through regret and faith. Even if it is only the last year or like the murderer next to Jesus, who in his last hour asked for mercy through remorse and in his free will he was in full recognition of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Part 4 of the cave (Realm of the Dead - Sheol)

There are also people who are told the judgment immediately upon their death, that there is no longer any possibility for them and that is what the fourth part is for. We think of the false christs, rulers and the rich of the earth.

There will soon be a New Earth for this group. This New Earth has the same function as the earth we live on. This group has been included in the center of the earth - hell - and has to ascend again from the fire, via stone, dust, bacteria, plant, fish, animal and finally as a human being one has the Free Will to for or against God. to choose. The new earth and the subsequent ones have the function of serving as a period of redemption.
